Branding Design Process

Research + Mood Boards

  • The research process in brand design involves understanding the target audience, market landscape, and the brand’s core values and objectives. This includes competitor analysis, audience demographics and psychographics, and exploring industry trends to identify opportunities for differentiation. These insights inform a visual and strategic direction that aligns with the brand's unique identity and goals.

Conceptualizing + Sketches

  • The conceptualization and sketching process translates research insights into visual ideas, exploring various creative directions through brainstorming and rough sketches. This stage focuses on experimenting with shapes, typography, and color palettes to develop concepts that capture the brand's essence and resonate with its target audience.

Drafts

  • The drafting phase refines initial sketches into more polished designs, exploring variations of the strongest concepts. This stage emphasizes fine-tuning details, ensuring alignment with the brand’s goals, and preparing designs for stakeholder review and feedback.

Rendering + Finalize

  • The rendering phase involves finalizing the chosen design concept with high-quality visuals and precise detailing. This includes creating scalable, production-ready assets that maintain consistency across various applications and platforms.
